Do I need a licence?
If you are using any music that has previously been recorded by another artist then you may need to apply for an MCPS licence.

What is the M.C.P.S?
The M.C.P.S (Mechanical Copyright Protection Society) is there to protect the rights of the owner of their work, be it yours or somebody elses composition.
How do I contact the M.C.P.S?

Do I need to send HDC Media a copy of the MCPS licence?
Yes, when applying for a licence with M.C.P.S you will be asked who is producing the disc. M.C.P.S will then forward it to us on your behalf.
