Our Green symbols

Look out for our simply and easy to use Green symbols which indicate whether the product is either 100% recycled, recyclable product or a environmentally friendly.

		100% recycled product All our Green Packaging products which have been 100% recycled can be identified with this logo. Full details of the packaging will appear beside the logo.
		Recyclable product All our products which carry this logo are suitable for recycling. This means that all components of the product including board, plastic tray and disc are all suitable for recycling. Examples of this include CD-Rom, DVD-Rom, Digipack, Softpack, Lansing Pack and Postal Pack. >> Click here for our free recycling service Full details will appear beside the logo.
		Environmentally friendly You'll find this symbol in all instances where HDC Media Group have significantly reduced the resources required to make a packaging product i.e. 1-disc Softpack solution where a plastic tray from a product is replaced with a die-cut slit. Full details of what resources have been reduced will appear beside the logo.

Free recycling service - (For Customers Only)

We’re always looking for different ways to reward our loyal customers, and now is a great time to remind you about our free recycling service for all your unwanted or surplus stock. Simply send us your CD’s, DVD’s, Floppy disks, Video tapes, Digipacks, paper parts or other packaging and we will arrange for them to be professionally recycled, giving you the peace of mind that you’re adding another helping hand towards saving our environment.

100% of the materials from cased CD's/DVD’s can be recycled. Various products can be manufactured from the recycled plastic material. Examples are artificial wood, alarm panels, new CD jewel cases and reflective light lenses. Paper is recycled into the manufacture of cardboard and finally floppy disks are shredded to recycle the plastic and metal.
